PLA Polylactic Acid
up to 55°CThe everyday workhorse — easy to print, dimensionally accurate, and great-looking. Stiff but brittle, and softens in heat, so it suits indoor and display use.

PETG Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol
up to 75°CA tough, slightly flexible all-rounder with better heat and chemical resistance than PLA. The go-to for functional parts that need some durability.
Best for: Functional parts, enclosures, outdoor-ish use
ABS Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
up to 100°CImpact-resistant and heat-tolerant, the classic engineering plastic. Trickier to print and best for parts that live in warm or demanding environments.
Best for: Durable, heat-exposed, mechanical parts
TPU Thermoplastic Polyurethane (flexible)
up to 80°CA rubber-like flexible filament — bends, compresses, and bounces back. Ideal where you need grip, cushioning, or a part that flexes without snapping.
